Village of Ruidoso Seeks Public Input for 2026-2030 Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (ICIP)
The Village of Ruidoso is inviting residents to participate in two public meetings to provide input on the 2026-2030 Village of Ruidoso Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (ICIP). These meetings will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM and Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 4:00 PM. Residents can join either meeting via the Village YouTube Channel or in person at Village Hall, located at 313 Cree Meadows Drive, Ruidoso, NM.
The ICIP is a critical document that outlines and prioritizes the Village's capital projects over the next five years. Public input is essential in shaping the plan, ensuring that the projects included meet the community's needs and have a clear implementation strategy with estimated costs. During the meetings, the current plan will be reviewed, and participants will have the opportunity to suggest changes and updates.
Following the public meetings, the Village will process and prioritize the feedback received to identify the top five projects to be submitted as funding priorities for the upcoming year. This community-driven approach ensures that the ICIP reflects the residents' priorities and supports the Village's long-term infrastructure goals.
The Village Councilors will consider the updated ICIP at their July 9, 2024 meeting. Resident participation is highly encouraged to help shape the future of Ruidoso's infrastructure.
For those unable to attend, the meeting will be streamed on the VOR YouTube Channel, which can be found here -https://www.youtube.com/@VillageofRuidosoNewMexico. If you wish to make any comments, you will need to attend in-person. For more information, contact Village Hall at (575) 258-4343.
