Lincoln National Forest will host a free public tree planting event at the Trestle Recreation Area on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A mandatory training brief for volunteers will take place from 9-10 a.m.

Help us to create a positive change and lasting impact in Ruidoso by joining our 2024 Great American Cleanup on April 21 at Wingfield Park. There will be shirts, food, and prize giveaways for volunteers. Registration begins at 12:30, and clean up is from 1 to 4 pm. Gloves, vests, bags, and t-shirts are provided.

The Toss No Mas Community Clean-Up will be held Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Wingfield Park from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Registrations begin at 12:30 p.m. Trash bags, gloves, snacks, and drinks will be provided.
