Every Kid Outdoors Program Expanded to 5th Graders

PSA

The Forest Service and National Park Service have expanded the Every Kid Outdoors program to fifth-grade students during the period of October 28, 2020, through August 31, 2021.  The program was originally created so fourth graders and their families could see America’s natural wonders and historic sites for free by offering a pass to fourth graders allowing them and their families free access to National Parks, Lands, Forests and Monuments.  However, last year many fourth-graders missed out on using their Every Kid Outdoors Annual 4th Grade Pass during the 2019-2020 school year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fourth and fifth-grade students can obtain a voucher by accessing the Every Kid Outdoors website at www.everykidoutdoors.gov. Fifth-grade students will need to link to the National Park Service Fifth Grade Voucher website on the top left corner of the home page. Physical passes are available for fourth graders to obtain, either through their school or by contacting their local Forest Service office.
