Village of Ruidoso Awarded CARES Act Funds
RUIDOSO, NM – September 4, 2020 – Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and the Department of Finance and Administration on Tuesday announced $150 million in CARES Act grants to local governments across New Mexico to assist in off-setting the costs of necessary expenditures incurred due to the public health emergency caused by COVID-19.
On August 31st, the Village of Ruidoso was notified that it had been awarded $2,787,792 in local government grants and $1,171,500 in grant awards for small businesses.

The Village of Ruidoso will be notifying the community in the near future regarding next steps.
The Department of Finance and Administration received 83 local government applications for $100 million made available for local governments and 66 applications for $50 million made available for small business grants via local governments.
