The Village of Ruidoso has issued a wastewater release advisory for the Rio Ruidoso area, downstream of Martin Road in the Upper Canyon. More information can be found on our website: https://www.ruidoso-nm.gov/.../wastewater-release-advisory

The Village has not received any additional rain which has helped the clean-up efforts. As residents begin to clean up their property, we'd ask that you place any silt or debris on the side of the road for crews to pick up.

Sandbags are available for any resident or business. Over 500+ sandbags have been picked up from Fire Station #1. Bags, materials, and shovels are provided but Village personnel is not able to fill or haul bags.

Rain is in the forecast this weekend, please seek high ground if you see rising waters and avoid the areas currently impacted by the flooding.

Please stay tuned to 1490 AM KRUI - The Mountain
