Help Preserve the Rich History of Ruidoso: Wingfield Heritage House Museum Hosts Collections Open House
The Village of Ruidoso invites residents and visitors alike to participate in a special event to preserve the area's vibrant history. The Wingfield Heritage House Museum is pleased to announce its Collections Open House, where members of the community are encouraged to share items that contribute to the story of Ruidoso and the Sierra Blanca region.
Collections sought by the museum encompass a wide range of themes, including the lives of individuals who have called Ruidoso home, the evolution of tourism and the promotion of the area, as well as the dynamic business and economic landscape of the Ruidoso Area.
Residents are encouraged to bring forward any items they believe contribute to the narrative of Ruidoso and its surrounding region. Whether it's a vintage photograph capturing a bygone era, a family heirloom with ties to the area's heritage, or documents shedding light on the evolution of local businesses, all contributions are welcomed and valued.
The Collections Open House will take place over three days at the Wingfield Heritage House Museum located at 2813 Sudderth Drive, Ruidoso. The schedule is as follows:
Thursday and Friday, March 28 & 29: 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 30: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
