Filmed in and around Ruidoso, the movie tells the story of Santa’s cousin stepping in to save the town’s Christmas Jubilee and discovering love along the way. Starring Jonathan Stoddard, Alexandra Harris, and Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts, the film highlights the spirit of Ruidoso’s holiday traditions.
Produced in partnership with New Mexico film company Inspirado Films, with New Mexico State University and Heartstrings Media, Santa’s Cousin involved local talent, including NMSU students gaining hands-on experience. Following its premiere, the film will be available on DirecTV, Dish, Apple TV, Amazon, Google Play, Vubiquity, and Fandango.
