Federal Contract Registration Workshop and 1:1 Assistance for Short-Term Rental Owners and Local Contractors

The Village of Ruidoso, in collaboration with FEMA, invites short-term rental property owners affected by the South Fork and Salt Fires (DR-4795-NM) and local contractors to participate in a Federal Contract Workshop and 1:1 technical assistance sessions at ENMU-Ruidoso. This event offers valuable guidance for businesses seeking federal contracts and registration on sam.gov, including FEMA’s Direct Lease program information.

  • Time: 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

  • Location: Room 201, ENMU-Ruidoso, 709 Mechem Dr, Ruidoso, NM 88345

The workshop will cover an overview of FEMA’s Direct Lease program and provide a step-by-step guide to registering your business for federal contracts.

1:1 Technical Assistance Sessions:

  • September 11: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Room 221)

  • September 12: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Room 229)

These personalized sessions will help businesses complete their sam.gov registration.

Attendees should bring essential documents, including a driver’s license, tax ID, banking information, and proof of physical address.

Please note that 1:1 sessions can be time-consuming, and wait times may vary. Sessions are first-come, first-served.
