Construction Underway at 603 Mechem to Add New Workforce Homes
The Village of Ruidoso announces construction at 603 Mechem to add ten workforce homes in May and June. Extensive earthwork is ongoing, and traffic is being managed to minimize disruptions. Brief traffic stops may occur as modular units are moved onto the property. These homes will enhance the village's vibrancy.

Wind Damage Debris Assistance
For Ruidoso residents in need of assistance with cleaning yard waste as a result of the wind event on Tuesday, and who are located in an area of the Village not impacted by the fire, please call Ruidoso Parks and Recreation (575) 257-7395 and provide your name and address. Volunteer crews are working to help residents clean up down trees and debris.

Village of Ruidoso steering committee seeks public input on Moon Mountain Recreation Area plan
Ruidoso residents are asked to provide feedback on a long-range Moon Mountain outdoor recreation plan. The public can share their input via an online survey (in English or Spanish) and virtual attendance via Zoom at the next Steering Committee meeting at 4 PM on April 6, 2022.
