Additional Precautionary Water Advisories Lifted for Ruidoso and Surrounding Areas

The New Mexico Environment Department’s (NMED) Drinking Water Bureau confirms that additional areas of the Ruidoso Water System and the entire Alto Lakes Water & Sanitation District precautionary drinking water advisories have been lifted.

Precautionary Advisories Lifted for the Following Drinking Water Systems

At this time, the precautionary water advisory for the Ruidoso Water System has been lifted in the green areas of the included map. The areas noted in red are still advised to boil their water. The NMED Drinking Water Bureau will continue to work with Ruidoso Village Officials to ensure the safety of the drinking water supply.
