Mayor Issues Executive Order in Response to COVID-19 on Forestry Compliance - March 20, 2020

Mayor Lynn Crawford has issued Executive Order 2020-04, giving clear direction on how the Village of Ruidoso Forestry Department will handle properties out of compliance during the COVID-19 outbreak.

“The Village of Ruidoso has a commitment to limit the hardship and exposure for residents considering the COVID-19 outbreak and will take necessary precautions to make decisions on policy changes and updates as needed related to forestry standards,” said Mayor Lynn Crawford.

State officials have vigorously encouraged all New Mexicans to practice social distancing procedures: stay home, particularly if you are sick. Additional information: https://cv.nmhealth.org/

New Mexicans who report symptoms of COVID-19 infection, such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, should call their health care provider or the NMDOH COVID-19 hotline immediately (1-855-600-3453).

The Village of Ruidoso will continue to provide new updates on the VOR website https://www.ruidoso-nm.gov/coronavirus-covid-19 and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/villageofruidoso/.
