Ruidoso Sewer Project Video Recording September 23 - 25, 2022
RUIDOSO, NM – September 16, 2022 – J. Aimone Associates, a subcontractor for AUI Inc., will be performing the required digital video recording for the Village of Ruidoso’s Hazard Mitigation phase in the Upper and Middle Canyon areas beginning Friday, September 23 through Sunday, September 25, 2022.
Ruidoso Sewer Line Rehabilitation Project Update
Survey crews will be working for the Village of Ruidoso to support the construction of the Hazard Mitigation phase in the Upper Canyon area beginning on Monday, August 8, 2022. Current survey work will be limited to the area along the river between 627 Main Road and 828 Main Road.
Lane Closures: Sudderth Drive May 16 - 19, 2022
Beginning May 16 to May 19, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., the Village of Ruidoso will be performing sewer line maintenance on the main sewer lines on Sudderth Drive at the circle to Raines Road near Lincoln County Medical Center. The road will have one lane closed where the maintenance will be performed (manholes).
Lane Closures: Mechem Drive May 9 - 12, 2022
Beginning May 9, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. the Village of Ruidoso will be performing sewer line maintenance on Mechem Drive from the Alpine Village turnoff to Sudderth Dr. which will have one lane closed. The road and lane closures will continue through May 12 or until the work has been completed.
Traffic Control Notice: March 21 - April 27, 2022
Village residents can expect work to continue on the Ruidoso Sewer Project Beginning on March 21, 2022, crews from SAK Construction will be performing maintenance on sewer lines within the area of Fern Trail in the Village of Ruidoso. The work will continue through April 27, 2022. This construction is weather dependent and therefore subject to change.

Road Closure to Begin Tuesday, January 18, 2022
The Street Department will be doing a culvert installation on Gavilan Canyon Road near the intersection of Homestead Loop. The road will be closed until work is finished. Residents will be able to access their homes between Warrior and Cemetery.. Detours will be at Gavilan and Warrior and Gavilan and Hull. Watch for street crews working, approach with caution.
Public Meeting Set to Discuss Ruidoso Sewer Line Hazard Mitigation and Stabilization Phase
A public meeting is scheduled for January 19, 2022, at 6:00 PM to discuss the Ruidoso Sewer Line Hazard Mitigation and Stabilization Phase. The meeting will be held at Village Hall located at 313 Cree Meadows Drive. A Zoom link is also available for anyone who wishes to attend virtually.
Street Closure: May 24, 2021
Beginning May 24 at 8:00 a.m., the Village of Ruidoso will be repairing a sewer line on Gavilan Canyon Road. The road and lane closures will continue until the work has been completed. Approach the area with caution, at a very slow speed, and watch for employees directing traffic.
Street Closure: May 18 - 20, 2021
Beginning May 18 at 8:00 a.m., the Village of Ruidoso will be repairing a sewer line on Burro Lane which will be closed. The 2800 block of Sudderth Drive will have one lane closed on the outside eastbound side of Burro Lane. The road and lane closures will continue through May 20 or until the work has been completed.

The Village of Ruidoso has rescinded a wastewater release advisory that was issued on Tuesday in the Carrizo Canyon Creek.
VILLAGE OF RUIDOSO ISSUES WASTEWATER RELEASE ADVISORY
The Village of Ruidoso has issued a wastewater release advisory for the Carrizo Canyon area. The advisory was issued after raw sewage overflowed into the Carrizo Canyon Creek at approximately 12:15 PM. The cause is currently under investigation.
