Lane Closures on Sudderth and Mechem Drives for Sewer Line Maintenance
The Village of Ruidoso has scheduled sewer line maintenance street works on Sudderth and Mechem Drives for September 17 - 19, 2018 (Sudderth) and September 24 - 26, 2018 (Mechem). The work will be conducted between the hours of 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM. During these times, drivers may encounter a single lane closure where work is being performed.
NMDOT to Repair Midtown Sidewalks
The New Mexico Department of Transportation will begin a new round of repairs to Sudderth sidewalks. Work is scheduled to begin September 24-26, 2018 and will last for a month.

Lincoln Country & Tribal Officials Form Group to Focus on School Safety

Cree Meadows Drive to be Closed on Wednesday, August 1st
Due to this week's series of microbursts, the culverts that cross Innsbruck at Cedar Creek have failed. As a result, Cree Meadows Drive will be closed Wednesday, August 1st from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM while VOR crews work to repair the damage.

VOR to Move to Level II Fire Restrictions on Friday, June 22nd
The Village of Ruidoso and the Ruidoso Fire Department announced that the fire restrictions will be dropping to Level II on Friday, June 22nd at 5:00 PM. Level II still does not allow for the use of charcoal, outdoor burning stoves, smoking outdoors, fireworks or campfires. However, it is OK to use gas grills that are UL/FM approved. Due to the extremely dry conditions, the Village of Ruidoso has moved into Level III fire restrictions effective at 8:00 AM this morning.

The Main Road Bridge in the Upper Canyon has officially re-opened! Crews finished the project yesterday afternoon and traffic is now flowing across the bridge.
