Village of Ruidoso Launches Disaster Recovery Dashboard to Aid Fire and Flood Recovery Efforts

The Village of Ruidoso is proud to announce the launch of its new Disaster Recovery Dashboard, an online platform designed to provide real-time information and resources to support those affected by the recent South Fork and Salt Fires and Floods. This platform aims to help residents, businesses, and local agencies navigate the complex recovery process following these devastating events.

The Disaster Recovery Dashboard serves as a centralized resource for all recovery-related information. It offers updates on infrastructure restoration, business status notices, debris removal programs, rebuilding and permitting processes, and community support services.

“The launch of this dashboard represents a crucial step in our commitment to transparency and community support,” said Mayor Lynn Crawford. “We want to ensure everyone has easy access to the latest information and resources needed to rebuild and recover after these disasters.”

Key Features of the Disaster Recovery Dashboard:

  • Real-Time Updates: Provides the latest information on recovery activities, including road closures, utility restoration, and emergency services.

  • Rebuilding & Permitting Information: Offers detailed guidelines and steps for residents and businesses looking to rebuild, including necessary permits and compliance requirements.

  • Resource Directory: Lists available resources for financial assistance, community support services, and volunteer opportunities to aid those affected by the disaster.

  • Business Status Notices: Includes information on the temporary status and permanent closures of local businesses impacted by the fires and floods.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to visit the Disaster Recovery Dashboard regularly for updates. The platform can be accessed via the Village of Ruidoso’s municipal website at https://ruidoso-nm.gov/disaster-recovery-dashboard.

The Village remains dedicated to supporting its community through clear communication and proactive recovery efforts. By providing timely and comprehensive information, we aim to help our residents and businesses rebuild a stronger and more resilient community during this challenging time.
