Wingfield Heritage House Museum and Ruidoso Library to Launch ‘Time Turner History Book Club’ in May 2025

Ruidoso, NM – The Wingfield Heritage House Museum and the Ruidoso Public Library are excited to announce the launch of the Time Turner History Book Club, a new initiative designed to bring history enthusiasts and curious minds together through engaging literature.

Beginning in May 2025, the Time Turner History Book Club will meet on the second Thursday of each month at 12:30 pm in the Ruidoso Library Conference Room. Led by Stephanie Long, Museum Curator and Manager, each meeting will delve into a selected historical book, fostering insightful discussions and a sense of community among participants.

The Time Turner History Book Club is open to everyone, from seasoned history buffs to those who are simply curious about the past. Each month, attendees will explore diverse historical periods, cultures, and perspectives, sharing their thoughts and discoveries in a welcoming, interactive environment.

Light refreshments will be provided during the meetings. A limited number of copies of the selected book will be available for checkout at least a month before the meeting. Patrons may also request an InterLibrary loan (please allow up to two weeks for arrival).
