Friday, February 9, 2018: Roper Construction continued to haul off overburden to the Grindstone site to run through the grizzly and separate rock. The contractor is bringing a small excavator with Teledyne to complete rock removal at the north headwall, and George Esqueda from Zia Engineering was on-site doing inspections.
Monday, February 12, 2018: Crews were hammering rock at the north headwall and hauling off material to Grindstone site. The north headwalls were almost to final grade at the end of the day.
Tuesday, February 13, 2018: The contractor cut the final grade and prepared to bring in engineered fill. Zia Engineering gave information on the cutting of the northeast wing wall and discussed concrete set times.
Wednesday, February 14, 2018: Engineered fill was brought in for footings and material continued to be hauled to the Grindstone site. Village of Ruidoso officials met on-site with contractor and engineer and the following items were discussed:

· Funding of the bridge (EDA)
· Talked about indicating when bridge was passable “Not Open” in case an emergency occurred, and we could use it for an emergency escape route.
