Village of Ruidoso Governing Body Strategic Planning Workshops
Mayor Lynn D. Crawford of the Village of Ruidoso announces 2025 Strategic Planning Workshops, scheduled for January 28 (9 a.m.–5 p.m.), January 29 (8 a.m.–5 p.m.), and January 30 (9 a.m.–noon). Village departments will present and review their plans in the Council Chambers at 313 Cree Meadows Drive. The workshop will adjourn after all plans are reviewed.

Village of Ruidoso Governing Body: Public Hearing Proposed Ordinance 2025-01
The Village of Ruidoso will hold a public hearing on February 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, 313 Cree Meadows Drive, to discuss proposed Ordinance 2025-01. This ordinance amends Chapter 54 (Land Use) of the Municipal Code, addressing zoning regulations for short-term residential rentals and related fees. Copies are available at the Municipal Clerk’s office.

Celebrate World Spay Day with Free Spay/Neuter Services at the Humane Society of Lincoln County
The Humane Society of Lincoln County offers free spay/neuter services on February 25, 2025, for World Spay Day. Registration starts February 6 at 10 AM at the shelter, 255962 Highway 70. Limited spots are available. Vaccinations and microchipping can be added for a fee. Preventing unnecessary litters helps reduce pet overpopulation. Great American CleanUp
Keep Ruidoso Beautiful and Parks and Recreation is hosting a Great American Cleanup at Wingfield Park on April 27, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Food and prize giveaways for volunteers. Registration begins at 12:30 pm. Gloves, vests, bags, and t-shirts are provided.
