Temporary Suspension of Signage Enforcement Effective Immediately Due to COVID-19 - May 1, 2020

“The Village of Ruidoso has a commitment to limit the hardship and exposure of economic catastrophe resulting from the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak on our local businesses, and these updated policies will help everyone during this ongoing public health crisis.”

Mayor Lynn Crawford and the Village of Ruidoso today announced updated enforcement regulations for temporary signage.

To address the needs of businesses adversely impacted during the ongoing COVID-19 public health emergency, effective immediately, the Village of Ruidoso will temporally suspend enforcement of Chapter 54 Division 5 by Executive Order 2020-07 to allow for temporary signs in order to promote their businesses that are operating under the restrictions of new State guidelines for retail operations during the ongoing public health emergency.
